Completed in 2022, the extension project is a model of landscape integration! The planted parking lot is truly "diluted" in the meadows, where rainwater is discreetly collected. The wheelchair-accessible ramp is wrapped in a cocoon of flowering plants selected for their attractiveness to pollinating insects. The entrance to the town hall extension, in Japanese style, is calm and uncluttered, to soothe the staff who work there. The one-storey extension, built at the bedside of the old building, maintains views towards the Salève, magnified by a superb mixed roof of succulents and flowering plants. Many thanks to the Ville de Thônex and Atelier 109, who provided perfect direction for the landscaping work. A great success and a pleasure to work with!
