Recipe for a perched vegetable salad!!!

Following the completion of the vegetable roof on building A3 at Quartier de l'Etang, Boccard has prepared a recipe for a perched vegetable salad:

- Take a building whose roof is well filled with technical ducts.
- Add a large suspended metal floor to cover the ducts.
- Pour an even thickness of concrete into the collaborative floors.
- Once everything is dry, coat it all with waterproofing.
- Carefully spread three layers of anti-root matting, protective felt and retention and drainage plates.
- Sprinkle with crushed terracotta, then separate with an anti-contaminant felt.
- Vacuum and blow from the ground a rich organic substrate in two distinct layers at least 40 cm thick.
- Plant fruit trees, herbs and companion plants around the edges. Water gently throughout the growing period.
- After the preparation has rested, add a company like Légumes Perchés to plant and take good care of the vegetables.
- Gently harvest the vegetables, taking care to clean them well with clear water
- For the rest of the recipe... let your imagination run wild!!!! 😊

We would like to thank Urban Project SA and Implenia AG, as well as Verzone Woods Architectes Architectes, for trusting us with this magnificent recipe.

Enjoy!!!
