Main Responsibilities

Managing one or more field teams, planning maintenance projects, maintaining direct contact with customers, taking measurements and preparing quotes, supervising routine maintenance work, placing orders with suppliers, and maintaining and monitoring the condition of machinery and tools.

More specifically, the team leader is expected to:
  • Interpret plans and construction documents in accordance with safety regulations, assign tasks, and provide instructions to the team
  • Maintain surfaces, apply pest control treatments as needed, prune trees and shrubs, assist with light masonry work, and adjust or repair the irrigation system as needed
  • Prepare daily reports (status reports) and records (time sheets, hours worked), and assist with billing preparation
  • Provide advice on selecting and caring for plants, working alongside the business manager
 

Desired Qualifications

Must hold a CFC in landscaping or an equivalent degree. Driver’s license required (trailer license a plus). Several years of experience as a team leader. Able to work completely independently in overseeing construction sites. Proactive, organized, conscientious, and professional. Fluency in French is essential.
 
In terms of technical skills:

Good knowledge of landscaping techniques (plants, planting methods, turf installation). Ability to read a map based on a basic understanding of topography. Good communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with customers.

Main Responsibilities

Advice and support for private, public, and institutional clients
 
  • Development and coordination of multidisciplinary projects (architects, engineers, partners)
  • Development of preliminary designs, PAPs, technical drawings, and presentation materials
  • Preparing quotes, negotiating with suppliers, and handling administrative procedures with government agencies
  • Project management from design through to project acceptance
 

Desired Qualifications

HES degree / Bachelor's degree / Master's degree in architecture or landscape engineering, or a recognized equivalent
 
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in a similar position
  • Good knowledge of the Geneva community; a well-regarded local network
  • Independence, teamwork, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in design software (CAD, BIM) and project management
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
